Mallory's Story

Emily Foreman-Toungate
Certified ISR Master Instructor

Howdy!  My name is Emily Foreman-Toungate, and  I am a certified master instructor for ISR, located in Pearland, Texas.  I am a graduate of Texas A&M University 98, I have 5 beautiful children, and am married to the love of my life.  I have been teaching ISR since 2013, and in 2017, I became a master instructor.  I am currently the only master instructor in the greater Houston area.  I am delighted to work with such an awesome program like ISR and I just love my job!

Why do I teach ISR?  Unfortunately, in August of 2007, my family experienced the worst tragedy known to parents.  My precious daughter and twin, Mallory, drowned at the age of 14 months.  The unthinkable had happened to us and we were devastated!  I had not heard of ISR back in  2007.  I wish I would have known about these life saving skills that infants, toddlers and kids learn through ISR.  I had been through a tragedy myself and knew I must educate parents about ISR!

Drownings do not discriminate!  They happen to good families and very loving parents.  All bodies of water can be dangerous and deadly to children, but with ISR lessons, I believe they are at least given a chance to save themselves. Mallory was not given this chance, but it is my mission and passion to inform all parents that ISR makes a difference!  I do not want any parent to experience the level of pain we endured.  Please take the first step and enroll your precious child in these life saving classes.
